The biennial Land Forces International Land Defence Exposition, that will be held in Melbourne from 11 – 13 September, is the premier gateway to the land defence markets of Australia and the region, and a platform for interaction with major prime contractors from around the globe. Tasmanian business will be well represented at the event, participating in the Defence Tasmania stand being coordinated by the Department of State Growth’s Advanced Manufacturing and Defence Industries unit.
Land Forces 2024 will provide delegates, exhibitors, participants and visitors the opportunity to meet with their peers, potential suppliers and customers. It will feature the platforms, equipment, services and technologies that are increasingly in demand by armies of the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
In addition to hosting senior international military, defence, government, scientific and industry delegations from around the world, Land Forces will attract a comprehensive array of defence professionals and trade visitors at all levels.
The three-day program will feature Australia’s largest defence industry exhibition, a comprehensive mix of expert presentations, conferences, and symposia exploring the current challenges and opportunities within the land defense sector, as well as daily networking opportunities. Land Forces 2024 will provide an ideal platform for business and engagement.
This year’s Defence Tasmania stand will host the 11 participating Tasmanian companies among which will be four members of the Tasmania Maritime Network – Australian Maritime College, CBG Systems, Pivot Maritime International and Sentinel Boats.
